The task of the architects from the 3XEL studio was to create a bright, minimalist space that will become a peaceful background for everyday life of the young family living here. In this apartment, the main decoration is the impressive size custom-made home library which occupies the entire wall of the living room, extending from the floor to the ceiling. Books stored in it perfectly reflect the interests and lifestyle of the owners (I believe that the bookshelf is the most personal furniture of all).
I really liked the idea that the kitchen had this „casual” character and doesn’t dominate the rest of the room – hence the simple, white furnishing, no hanging cabinets or tiles on the wall and a mini picture gallery that was created above the counter. Thanks to that, the kitchenette blends completely with the background and the elements that the investors wanted to be most visible, such as the vintage table, catch the eye.
