Another photoshoot performed for the architects from bo / sko studio. I would describe the Smart Kids interior style as pastel industrial as exactly these two motifs dominate in the kindergarten’s space. The designers have created a bold concept that, despite many raw elements, is friendly and fully adapted to the requirements of the youngest. The penetration of the building architecture elements into the interior of the kindergarten is an extremely interesting and effective idea, especially since the final design is perfectly balanced. Candy colors soothe the rawness of the reinforced concrete, and the illustrations decorating the walls divert attention from visible installations and stimulate the imagination of little explorers.
Importantly, the interior design was created taking into account the Smart Kids educational program and methods, which was to support the work of the teachers. Colors, a variety of textures, space, and light have a huge impact on a child’s development and concentration. The architects wanted to leave room for the creativity of the preschoolers, and, as they admit, prove that a place dedicated to children does not have to be overloaded with stimuli.
