Groovy is a Polish jewelry brand created by two artists – Joanna Mach and Dorota Kotwica. They both always dreamed of a workshop combined with a boutique where they could present their projects. Finally, they’ve found the perfect location – in the very center of Łódź, in a tenement house at Włókiennicza Street, which, thanks to revitalization, has gained a completely new life. They entrusted the design of the store’s interior to an architect from LUVA, Joanna Stolarek. She described the concept in the following words: „In the interior, organic shapes appear in the mirrors and in the openings of the walls separating the boutique from the workshop. The whole project was composed in delicate shades of nature and round shapes, where plants play an important role. The atmosphere of the interior is full of warmth and nostalgia, while the jewelry stimulates the senses and reminds us of the best memories of summer”.
And because the photoshoot took place in the middle of hot July and turned out to be an extremely interesting meeting with three inspiring artists, for me Groovy is definitely the best memories of the summer.
