What I particularly value in the work of an interior photographer is meeting different personalities of architects and designers, and thus – the possibility of photographing very diverse interior designs. When I was contacted by the owner of the Parisian design office IMA Interiors regarding a photo session of their latest project, just after reviewing the studio’s portfolio I’ve already known that an extremely interesting cooperation was ahead of me. And I was not at all disappointed, as the interior that I photographed was absolutely unique in many respects.
Starting from the intriguing color palette, through the rare finishing materials and the way they are combined on a small area of the apartment, the original designs of local craftsmen (just look at this desk made of glass and green marble – wow!), ending with the overall style of this place which brings to mind French surrealism. As the author of the interior design emphasizes, it was created to enable complete immersion in the aesthetic world and to present the sensitivity of IMA Interiors. I am more than happy that I had the opportunity to capture this design in frames.
